Can I Trademark Artwork?
As long as you are using the artwork to brand, market, promote, or sell your goods or services, you can absolutely trademark the artwork. Generally, such artwork should be used as a logo for your business, products, or services. Registering artwork as a trademark presents additional requirements beyond simply trademarking a name or a slogan, namely that all of the features of the artwork must be fully disclosed and there are sometimes issues of whether color should be claimed as a part of the artwork trademark. As with all other trademarks, the artwork you wish to trademark must be unique.
