Can I Trademark Myself?
Believe it or not, but you can absolutely trademark yourself as long as you are using your likeness as a logo to market, brand, and sell your products or services. It’s not like you’re going to put yourself in an envelope and mail yourself to the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), right? Essentially, trademarking yourself means you’ve built yourself in to a brand for your goods and services, and as a result, you are permitted to trademark your name as a word mark and your likeness as a logo. All you have to do is show the USPTO your name and likeness are deeply associated with your brand of products or services.
